Human Development-
I am interested and able to mentor a variety of studies within the field of human development. I have a doctorate in “Human Development in Educational Contexts” which focused predominantly on school-aged children. I am interested in and able to mentor studies in child and adolescent development, as well as studies that specifically examine cognitive development.

Psychology-
I am interested and able to mentor a variety of studies within the field of psychology. I hold a master’s degree in psychology which focused on clinical psychology from the perspective of behavioral and cognitive-behavioral theory. I have taught classes at area colleges in abnormal child psychology, abnormal psychology, cognitive psychology, child development, behavior modification, research methods, and statistics. In addition to these topics, I am knowledgeable and can mentor studies in educational psychology, health psychology, stress management, motivation, theories of counseling, counseling theory for children, ecopsychology, and environmental psychology.

Sustainability-
I am interested and able to mentor studies within the field of sustainability including sustainable living, sustainable development, green building, ecopsychology, environmental psychology, sustainability education, food and health, local food, and ecotherapy.

Education-
I am interested and able to mentor studies within the field of education. My doctorate focused in part on educational contexts for development and much of my graduate studies focused on the field of education. I have mentored studies in foundations of education, sociology of education, educational issues, special education, special education issues, educational psychology, educational assessment, alternative education, alternative preschool education, comparative education (cross-cultural), and mentoring.
